Mixing music, though it’s a very exciting and fun part of the job, can be very frustrating and confusing if you are not sure what result you want. That’s why in our mixing process, the most important thing we stick to is your wishes and your taste. We believe that music can be mixed in many different ways, and even before we start recording, we insist on having a couple of reference tracks that the client likes the sound of. In this way, we avoid any confusion about what we are trying to achieve, so the mixer – client relationship is of the upmost importance. Regarding the technical part of things, we do mixing ITB but love to mix using a combination of analogue gear (because of its warmth and saturation) and digital plugins (since it’s hard to match their precision), very carefully getting the best out of both worlds. Because sound matters!
